730 swap and knock sensor (quick?)

730 swap and knock sensor (quick?)
Was going to put the new knock sensor in the driveer side of the block. I found my oil cooler line is useing the hole I would have used. I'm not using the aux fan in my car anymore. Can I put the knock sensor in the cly. head? Or will this cause major false knock from the vibs?

I don't think it would work properly in the cylinder head. Just a guess though...

Oil cooler belongs in parallel with heater core, in that circuit....could be in series, but the heater core cut off valve would kill the oil cooler also...
that leaves the skirt open for the knock sensor, designed for that spot, can't be moved....we need sense the rods knocking, not the tappets....
