Default 1984 changing fuel lines

Good afternoon all, I went through changing my rusty brake lines last weekend with only a minor slip up, I broke one of the rusty fuel lines. So I have the lines in hand and will start tomorrow.

If anyone needs brakes lines I had perfect fit delivered from corvette central. Thanks guys!

Anyone have any words or wisdom before I start my fuel lines? Thanks as always in advance for your help.

Just use caution...

I always d/c at the tank and clamp off the return so there is no siphoning action. That gets messy.

I'll use heater hose to double bag or insulate spots that might rub or be damaged by debris or heat. Finally, I'll use tie-straps to secure lines that are prone to vibration or movement, no movement lessens the risk of cracking,. so keeping them solid lowers that risk. Since its gas...
Research the stoff-clamps to see what bolt size they use..Some bolts will break...got to be rusted out by now. Tie -straps make good replacements.
