I'd have to believe that the commercially available ones like say Borla or Magnaflow that go to the cat are about $700 and Corsa is about $1100, therefore this will be, even not using 304 SS, at least $700 since it is all hand made and not welded up in a jig and mass produced. So the question would be whether it was at least equal or better to justify the dollar. After all, he doesn't owe us all favors that we can cash in on like you. I'd be curious since if he can make it cheaper, he might have a customer base for those who have rotting exhausts.

I would really doubt it would be $700, probably be around $2-300 without mufflers, adding mufflers would add a bit more but it just depends on what mufflers you use. these cars are very easy to do an exhaust for, it is more straight length than anything else, not many bends to have to deal with. not like you go over the differential or anything

Why not ask him how much he would charge to do it for someone? If nothing else, it could be a sticky. Best case scenario, he could mass produce it, in a limited sense and become a new vendor? IF he could do the whole shooting match to your door for say under $500, since he isn't doing 304, it could be an alternative for those that don't live on salt roads or don't drive in the winter at all. Just a thought. We can never have too many vendors.

What he does is truly custom work, he would have to take time to make a jig so that it would be remotely close to fitting most cars. Just wouldn't be able to do the kind of quality he expects without having the car at his shop
