Will the real LT engine please stand up
Just run the LT1 as a standalone setup like guys do when they put a LT1 into a non C4
See

Is easier if you use a custom aftermarket bare bones wiring harness without out all the un-needed stock wiring
Only need a 12V supply and a 12V switched (Ign ) connection to the PCM
Would need a LT1 manual tune in the LT1 PCM and one of the many popular means of locking the convertor installed in your car.
Gauges / speedo would still run as they are now ; independent of the new PCM
for use on 1992-96 LT1 engines.
and P/N 12550097 hub for use on 1996-97 LT1 engines.
Did you ever go to the LT1 vs LT4 link posted in one of the threads earlier, some of the P/Ns are there?

IMO finding the engine parts are going to be easy, IDK about getting through Kalifornia's CARB process. Anyone know what it takes to get a older C4 through carb with a 1996 engine? Does it need to be OBDII or should/can he make it a 95 and use OBDI which is easier to tune in the C4 since its not a 1 year only setup?
Or does Kali let the car go by the model year in which case how's it make it through visual?
