1988 upgrade ideas so far:
I've been gathering information and reading ideas and advice on upgrades for my vette. I have homed in on completed projects and the end results of them. With 19k miles on the clock,and decent heads i can save a few bucks leaving the bottom end and heads alone. I'm not looking for earth shaking performance.
Headers/exhaust
Cam with matching springs
Edelbrock Pro Flo XT intake like Midnight85 has(one reason for this is it can accommodate future upgrades)
Pcmforless tune

I went with 08-501-8. Mild difference so my computer can still run the car. 20hp gain. Edelbrock 3860 intake gasket matched. SLP runners ported gasket matched. Stock heads ported exhaust slightly gasket matched slightly needed. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Rebuilt motor balanced. Roller rocker arms 1.5 a Edelbrock waterpump. 24lb Bosch investors. Headman long tube ceramic coated headers. All Summit sold. Emissions okay. True duel exhaust flowmaster cats 2 and 2 mufflers. All in all I have spent a ridiculous amount of money. Save your money and buy a newer Corvette.
