Default maybe not logical, but will it cause any harm?

If you did heads/cam plus like 50 million tiny parts that go along with that for little gains, would it be ok to have that done before doing exhaust modifications? Given it would be flowing a lot more air and fuel and thus power, is the stock system good enough to hold your engine more than strong before you can get good exhaust, or is this just asking for trouble?

What goes in must come out, if you make it breath better on the intake side the exhaust must follow suit to take full advantage of your mods. Will a stock exhaust work ? Yes, but not as effieciently. 84 CF 91 ZR-1 :eek:

If youre asking whether it will really hurt anything, it shouldnt. You wont make near as much power as you would with headers though.

I didnt see what year you have, but if its an L98, then you should do those headers first as the stock manifolds are the most restrictive part of the whole system.
