Alright guys, obviously I'm new to the Corvette world and can't stop reading all the posts.
My question is this...When trying to find the codes, I understand that the 12 pin connector is under the drivers dash on the right of the steering wheel and I read the thread covering how to connect to the A and B spots and grounding it out in order to obtain the codes that are there. The post did not specify how or I didn't catch how to determine which codes are which. If I understand right the "Check" light will flash (pause) flash flash (long pause) and do this 3 times and this is code 12. Then any other code that is in the system will show and the 12 code will flash again when complete.
How do I determine the other codes and what they are?
My "Check" light is not currently on nor has it since I have owned the car. Just wanting to check due to some rough idling and running rich.
Go to your local parts store and ask them to scan your car for codes. Get the codes and post them here, you'll get answers. Most part stores, like Autozone, do this for free.
That is the page I read already. My question is...Will it show an actual number like 32, 42 and so on or will the "Check" light just flash in different sequences to represent each number? Like page says, a code 12 the "Check" light will flash (pause) flash flash (long pause).

After it flashes Code 12 three times, any other codes will flash in the same manner. Kind of like mores code.
after the three 12's flash...then any additional codes will flash the same way.
Be cautious about having a auto parts store scan your 85. The 85 was the only year with the 870 chip and most of the code readers will not read the 85 correctly.
