Does anyone know if you can paint the tinted glass roof panel on a
95 C4? I hate the heat from the sun through that thing, and I think the painted one looks much better anyway.

My old smoked top was painted long ago. It's now gloss black. Holding up well and looks like a fiberglass top. And, lots cooler.

I saw a strange one years back when I was originally looking for a C4. The car I looked at was admiral blue and from the outside it appeared to have an admiral blue fiberglass top (matched the rest of the exterior perfectly. I got inside and saw that the top was, in fact, transparent. You could see right through it to the outside. I have no idea what is was painted with.

^^^ Could have been a blue tint Targa Top? That was an option too other than bronze.

Nope, it was the same admiral blue as the car.

I have a blue tint top on my C4 so I'm familiar with how it looks.

I would find a nice fiberglass top on CL or Fleabay, paint it to your body color, and then sell the glass top you have now to recoup your monies.
