Srs sensor is bad, right rear speed sensor bad , and the egr soliniod is bad.
My mechanic says that gm don't make those parts anY more.
Dose any one know if any one sells these N.O.S. or aftermarket .
Also tHe two prong pig tail that plugs in the egr is bad.

Did you check with any of the big parts suppliers? Corvette America, Ecklers, Mid America, Zip, Corvette Central, etc. There are also vendors on the forum that can help.

If you are looking for aftermarket then check Autozone, Advance Auto, etc for parts. Some parts you can get through these type of suppliers while others you need to go with a Corvette supplier.

Just my 2 cents.

The SIR depending on the code is probably one of the impact sensors that needs the ground cleaned. If it needs other parts I should have them all. The ABS R/R sensor shouldn't be a problem either I should have that used also. The EGR solenoid I would think shouldn't be an issue either, I don't have that. The connector no problem either.

Do you have the codes that were displayed when the diagnostics were done? That might help with the locating parts. ABS and SIR I should have what's needed. There would be information on the EGR solenoid and it might be good to have that also. It could be a 7 digit number or perhaps a DRXXXXX where the X's are numbers.

I have a 1990 Vert. SIR sensors had a problem in 90. Most cases the right one went bad due to water seepage...FIX...remove and sand sensor and area where located and use dielectric grease to prevent corrosion (this was GM's fix for 91). Egr solenoid can be bought from Corvette Central. You will have to pull codes for the engine lite. This happened to me with the Sir and you can do it yourself.

What UNCLEBILL said.

Also check the air bag sensor connections, large yellow wire cover, cockpit side @ the firewall/kick panel area. No lock tabs on the slip fit connector, if the connection is not seated together properly a sensor code will be displayed.

Good afternoon,

You are correct, unfortunately these parts are not being made at the moment!

If you need anything else, please let me know!

Thank you, Eckler's Family of Automotive parts.

Did you do the 3 sec on ..off...on..off clear code ? My memory is vague on the exact way but I made up a switch set up to do time sequence as you only have a tolerance in time of +/- 1/2 sec. Had to do it several times but it cleared. I got the info using the sites search function.

I tried that and had no luck. That's one of the reasons why I took it in..
