This is not necessarily about a Corvette, but it IS regarding an OBDI GM system (93 Lumina) and since many of us on this forum have the OBDI, I thought someone may know.
The problem is, my car will SOMETIMES die when I'm at a stoplight with the brakes on (round 700rpm). But it'll start right back up. I tried to pull codes...but the "SES" light won't flash, it just stays on solid. Now, the motor in this car is brand new, so is it possibly a bad ECM? Any ideas are appreciated. THANKS!
I had a friend describe the exact same problem with the same car (diff. year). I think for him it turned out to be burned out torque converter clutch or something of that nature. (I know jack about automatic trannys) And he seemed to think it was a pretty common problem in that car. *shrugs*
