So yesterday I replaced some of the stock lights inside the car with led bulbs. Now I notice that when the car is on, that when i open the door and the interior lights comes on that it triggers unlocking the doors, and when the door closes that the doors unlock again when the lights turn off. You think it would be associated with something in the drivers side door shorting to the unlock switch and lighting?
Sounds like a short. You need to tell us what year and model you have so we can better help you!
93 coupe base model. Only lights I changed out were two foot wells. Courtesy light in each door panel, rear view mirror lights, center glove box light, and the two lights behind the seats. Since its unlocking the doors I'd want to say it's either of the doors or maybe under driver foot well?

It almost sounds like you've triggered an auto-lock/unlock feature.
Closest I've ever come is while "fixing" my daughter's boyfriend's POS Explorer. The windows wouldn't roll up -- none of them.
I jumped a power wire (from the battery) to the main DS window control. (I was going under the assumption that the power lead had broken in the door jam.)
Voila...the windows all rolled up.
I decided to look for a live 12V wire in the door -- to "steal" as a temp fix. IIRC, I found a live 12V wire on the electric power mirror pod. So, I spliced into it. Then, I declared "It's fixed!".
He hit the window up/down button and the doors locked/unlocked instead!
