Default MY vette WHY!!

OK here is the problem when its cold runs strong no codes (sweet and fast). But when it warms up 150-200 and i hammer it hard i get a code every time.then it runs kinda crappy.I have played with the timing so much i dont know what to do next.I did replace the knock sensor but dont think thats it (it would ping/knock alot at wot too) then throw a code as it was doing it i have a code 36 maf burn off module which i have had this code since i bought the car and yes i replaced it 600 bucks  i had a mat sensor too low votage code to so what should i do next to fix this please help i love my vette but its like my marriage enought is enought JAY

this sounds like a problem with the ECU... I can never remember the next part... but when the engine is cold it runs in open loop(I think) and uses tables to determine mixture... once it warms, it is in closed loop (I think) and uses inputs.

if a part is throwing a code, make sure it is bad, or, if the circuit to it is bad.

Did you replace the maf relays? They are cheap, $10.00, easy to replace, and will usually fix the problem.

This derned book I have shows a code 36 as an ignition system circuit error, and a code 34 as a MAF circuit or transaxle shift problem? I think this thing needs to be thrown in the dumper. Nothing else in this thing makes any sense either :mad

It's an 85, no burn off relays. Needs to get the manual and stop throwing money at the fix.
