Recently, on three different ocassions, days apart, I've experienced a hestitation/stumble when accelerating from a stop. I'll be stopped at a light, the light changes, I give it a little gas to start , and the car stumbles for a second (almost like a stall) and then goes like it should.
Car starts immediately, idles smooth, and runs great - except for the three stumbles.
I have replaced, over the last year (while fixing other problems):
MAF sensor and relays
fuel injectors
fuel filter
EGR valve and solenoid
IAC
TPS (just put a new on two weeks ago, after the first two stumbles)
plugs
plug wires
ignition module
rotor
dist cap
every vacuum line on the car
Could this be the beginning of a fuel pump failure? Last time I check, fuel pressure was right on spec.
Re: Maybe a new problem about to happen...??? (Mike263)
I had a similar problem only it was hesitation any time I opened the throttle just a little bit. There is a short vacuum line going from the EGR solenoid (by the thermostat) to the bottom of the TB. The elbow was cracked. That line doesn't see vacuum until the throttle is barely opened so that was why the air leak (which bypassed the MAF causing a lean tip in condition) didn't affect any other throttle position.
Could be gunked up throttle plates, too.
Might want to also check fuel pressure as you noted. In particular whether cracking the throttle causes an increase (bad regulator?)
