Recently, on three different ocassions, days apart, I've experienced a hestitation/stumble when accelerating from a stop. I'll be stopped at a light, the light changes, I give it a little gas to start , and the car stumbles for a second (almost like a stall) and then goes like it should.
Car starts immediately, idles smooth, and runs great - except for the three stumbles.
I have replaced, over the last year (while fixing other problems):
MAF sensor and relays
fuel injectors
fuel filter
EGR valve and solenoid
IAC
TPS (just put a new on two weeks ago, after the first two stumbles)
plugs
plug wires
ignition module
rotor
dist cap
every vacuum line on the car
Could this be the beginning of a fuel pump failure? Last time I check, fuel pressure was right on spec.
Almost anything BUT a fuel pump. When the pump starts to go, it isn't able to keep up the volume or pressure under demand. You problems are at the times the demands on the pump are minimal. I don't know much about TPI, but I would take a look inside the throttle body for a build up of oil, carbon, or other "junk". Good luck.
