Re: Anyone spraying with heads/cam, any problems? (KLLRVET)
I'm looking to have my heads and cam installed at the end of summer, and I'm sure it will keep me happy for a little while, but when I do need more I'm gonna wanna spray it.
Re: Anyone spraying with heads/cam, any problems? (Hammer)
Ive got a 11:1 383 trickflow heads, stealth ram,58mm t-body, ram air,1.6 roller rockers, crane #119661 hydrolic roller cam and a custom made 175-200hp nitrous plate system, you can expect low to mid 11,s on street tires (no traction under 60mph)and broken rear ends,transmissions,half- shafts, u-joints,ETC. if you add slicks BTW( never hit the giggle gas at under 3000rpm or under 45mph or you will break parts, and you must retard the timeing about 2.5 degs for every 50hp worth of giggle gas you throw into the intake and you must run on the rich side or you will burn pistons and valves, and you must have a better than stock fuel pump that can suppy a constant 45 lbs minimum fuel pressure, 60lbs works better)

Nope.
On the OEM crossfire setup(yeah well..) i put a couple of old foggers i had laying around.
Had them spraying over the butterflies.
Run a window switch set between 2400 and 6000.
A FPSS and manual trigger as well as a WOT switch.
The WOT and window as well as retard are built into my Haltech.
Retard 5 deg on that 200.
Use AC 42;s in my Darts on the static 11:1 comp.
Re: Anyone spraying with heads/cam, any problems? (Racing)
I am seriously thinking of adding a 150 shot after I do my heads/cam as well. I think if you set everything up right you should be fine. I don't plan on hitting the juice everyday or anything. Only when it is needed ;)

Slow down James, one mod at a time. Boy you must really have the horsepower fever. lol
 I know! I do have the fever! I think its because I lost my boat in my recent divorce and need a new summer hobby! Plus the wifey is gone and can't say "You don't need anymore Sh&# for that Car!"
Re: Anyone spraying with heads/cam, any problems? (Rich B.)
I am thinking about using just a 125 shot on mostly a stock car. Getting cat back exhaust front y-pipe and tpis cold air then getting that NOS kit. I shouldn't have any problems if I hook it up right. I just don't have enough money now for all that!

I too have thought of adding a 75 shot on top of the heads&cam. Not to be used often, but just a little insurance. ;) 150 would be pushing it IMHO
