Default Is the digital temp gauge = PCM temp?

I've read a bunch of different posts here and there seems to be differing answers: I know that there are two coolant temp sensors ( one in the pump and one in the passenger side head) and that one feeds the PCM and the other feeds the IP gauges. The question is when they say "gauges" does that mean just the analog or both the analog and digital? Is the digital reading the same # that the PCM sees ( and taken from the same sensor?)

the sensor in the water pump is for the ecm. the sensor in the cylinder head is for the analog . My car does not have an ecm installed anymore so I can't check the temp in the digital part of the dash.

Where you have both gauges ; the digital displays what the PCM /ECM sees from the 2 wire CTS (in the water pump on your engine)
