LED bulbs
Hey guys
I am interested in swapping out some of my exterior lights to LED bulbs as they give a lot more crisp sharp look to the car
I decided to piece together a kit for my car for cheap and I am having nothing but problems
The 1157 amber LED bulbs I got for the front running lights/blinkers look the same as my halogens. And it seems I can find 194 LED bulbs but not 24 LED bulbs
Does anyone have pictures, part numbers and places to order these?
A part number for an electronic flasher would be nice as well because that is another problem I had
I switched back to all halogen bulbs today until I can get this figured out

The one thing I can tell you is that the small plug in bulbs are either a T5 or T10 bulb. The bulbs with the SMD 5050 are some of the brightest ones. The other thing to look for is to make sure the bulb produces light in the direction you need it. Some bulbs are somewhat directional. Whenever you can match the bulb color to the lens color. Let me know if I can be of any other help my 96 CE coupe is almost completely LEDs now.

I have replaced all of my exterior bulbs (except for 2) with LED replacements from SuperBright LED.

All of my interior bulbs have been replaced as well.
I went around the car and pulled each bulb, and matched it with it's SuperBright replacement.
For a flasher, use a modern GM equivalent. The new flashers are made for use with LED's.

Do you have to replace both flashers to electronic flasher for LED bulbs? According to the FSM there is one for turn signal and one for hazards.
It seems like some related posts say just turn signal and others say both flashers. It makes sense for both, but just checking since there is conflicting information.
By the way, mine is 1990 model year if it makes a difference.

My mechanic replaced that 'electronic' flasher with a modern GM replacement.
Almost all of the newer cars have LED lights from the factory, and apparently the newer GM flashers take that into account.
