Dip stick tube
I found that my car's dipstick tube was loose, when I installed it a couple years ago I used some black sticky stuff (Keep on forgeting what it's called :confused: :crazy: ) so I'm guessing that stuff doesn't work so anyone knows what's the best adhesive to use

Your dipstick should not need any RTV if it is bolted to the block like it should be.
If it is not bolted, I highly recommend that you do so and all your troubles will subside.

Thanks all,
Now I remember, awhile age I had used pematex to help keep the tube sealed and bolted the tube to the block and that didn't work. I've heard not using any sealant and to use sealant from the service dept. I'm just worried about oil seeping between the tube and the block.
Hopefully one more week and I can finally keep up with y'all agin after two years of rebuilding
