HELPPPPP trans not shifting now
OK here's what I have 96 auto lt1 68000 miles
Everything was working fine then occasionally I would get CEL code 753 when this would happen Trans would go into limp mode soon as I would clear the code Trans would be back to normal (when clearing the code while driving you could literlly fell the difference).
So I decided to change the shift solenoids since that's what the code is put her back together and no drive 1-2 fine 3rd its like its in neutral same in overdrive.
So I dropped the Trans pan took out the solenoids checked the valves made sure they were not stuck ohm ed the solenoids and put it back together still acting the same inside the pan was nice and clean fluid not burnt.
Any suggestions?

Not a trans. expert by any means, but check all your connections. Might sound like newbie advice but make sure all your transmission electrical connections are clean and follow wires to make sure they aren't damaged. Sounds like something electrical to me...

Christmas Eve 2007 my 1995 with 153,000 miles at the time out of nowhere did as yours...1st fine, 2nd fine...3....revved up like in neutral and same for OD. I put the car in 2nd and drove the last 30 miles of my journey home at high rpms at 40 mph. Turns out it was a worn 3-4 clutch pack requiring a total rebuild. I did it myself, took about a year and it was running fine by Christmas Eve 2008. I did not have any codes or known electrical issues you descibed, so that may be your problem. Perhaps one of the solenoids controls the 3-4 shift? I don't know.
