Default 1996 collectors edition LT1 vert auto

I have a 96 CE LT1 auto . 100k on it and it runs very strong. Will effortlessly smoke first launches real hard and will burn second for about a car length. Keep in mind I have a mildly built C5 and there's no comparison. Now I'm changing the oil I look up and coasted into the block are two inch tall letters that say 327 on both sides. Also it will bury the tach and shift around 6500-7000. Motor and trans look way to clean to be a 100k 1995 but the car is also clean. I guess I need to find more block numbers?
