Ceramic pad for a 85?

Can a guy get these? I have called Napa and Performance friction don't make them for that yr. I am just sick and tired of the brake dust... Options

I don't know about ceramics, but I just tried a pair of HAWK carbon fibre pads (street not race) for my 1984... I couldn't believe the improvement. Really. And they are supposed to be low dusting.

OK.....does Hawk have a website and where can i get them. Time for new pads up front and the stock brakes on my 85 are just awful. If these are an improvement in braking, i'm interested, and if there less dust great. but i just wanna be able stop!!!

Somebody makes a pad for the early C4 named something like the Puma that are supposedly awesome. They squeal, but will make you stop.

Hawk's are sold by Ecklers, but there may be other vendors.

Checked with HAWK & Ecklers- no Hawk pads for my 86 ???? Would really like ceramic but can't find them either. Am I looking wrong or what? :(

the hawk part number is hb173 in the front. rears are NA

Hps hawks. I was reading on the Green stuff pads that they dont have brake dust. That would be a nice option. I hate cleaning my wheels every couple of days. But everyone has been raving about the hawks so i will try them out myself. :cheers:
