Maf code
My check engine light came on the other day. I went to Advance auto and the code was P0100 for maf sensor. The light had gone out prior to them testing it. Also my battery was dead and I jumped the car prior to the code. Would the battery issue have caused the code. Thanks

The couple of times my '96 did that, it hesitated or stuttered briefly before the SES light came on. Possibly it was a loose connector at the MAF, I had just recently replaced the radiator and had all that out of the car. I cleaned the MAF anyway, no more issues with it since.

Thanks,, I had been cleaning a lot under the hood (car show) and may have loosened a wire. All is good now,, to much to cleaning getting a daily driver ready for a show against garage queens
