Default Maryland Repair Shops?

Can anyone recommend a reputable repair shop in Maryland?, Specifically around Ft Meade/South Baltimore? I have a friend whose car is in desperate need of attention.

thanks,

Having had my 90 serviced at almost every dealer around here in MD. I have some reccomendations. If it is dealer service or traansmission work, then go to Sport Chevy (they got the best corvette mech in town). For the best work in town its Tony's Corvette shop in Gaithersburg!!! http://www.tonyscorvetteshop.com/ For tires its Radial tire company in silver spring.

Thanks I'll pass on the info. Criswell is where I bought my Vette from. They were great until they had my check then they wanted nothing to with me. I reported them to the BBB. I wouldn't let them work on my roller skates nor will I ever buy anything from them again.

Not disagreeing with your experience, but mine w/Criswell was quite the opposite. I bought my LT4 used, and transferred the GMPP over. Soon after that I had a couple of codes set and they took care of it. They also put in a new ZF6 because of a little noise :D and arranged a loaner car during the whole thing (covered by GMPP). Ended up going thru 2 bad replacement PCM's but finally got a new one - hardly their fault since they're all rebuilds. They were pretty good about getting me in for service on short notice, and following up to see if things were still working OK. Overall, not a bad experience for a walk-in customer with a used car.
