How do I check fuel pump pickup screen?
I want to check the pickup screen on the fuel pump, is it a changeable part if it should happen to be obstructed with junk? I've run the gas down to about 1/8 tank. How do I go about getting to the pump and pickup?

First thing kill the power from the battery and remove the torks bolt on your gas cover. Remove rubber boot, remove the screws that are on top of the tank holding the pump assembly. Lift up and the screen will come up with the pump. Remove fuel lines to ;)

No the fuel lines are up at the highest point of the system
P.S. What's best brand of smokes to drag on whilst doing the job?

i prefer to use a propane torch or oxy/acc cutting torch to loosen up those hard to get fuel lines. also works well to weld up gas tanks on the car :lol: smoking while you do this is just an added benifit
