Engine knock in L98

Engine knock in L98
My 90 L98 has only 31,+++ miles on it. After driving on the highway, when it comes to idle, there is a distinct knock in the engine. I have owned the car for about 18 months, have changed the oil using synthetic. I would like to get input as to what may cause this situation. The car is all original except for a few minor mods.

Welcome to the Forum. You have found the best Corvette web site in the world. Now, about your problem. I have no idea. Just kidding. You are going to have to do some more homework tho. You need to use a very long screwdriver. Put the plastic handle up to your ear and hold it tight there. Then probe around with the tip placing it on different areas of the engine trying to locate the place the knock is coming from. Is your oil pressure up to snuff? Let us know what you find out.

Are you certain it is a knock?
My 90 would tick, it would bounce off everything I drove by, it was the injectors.
Another guy on the forum who lives in my town has a ticking 90 as well, he thought his was a lifter. He cant pinpoint it.
