Mirror ??
Anybody replace or fix the little mirror joystick ? My mirrors go left, right and up. no down. Both mirrors, so it has to be the switch. Rarely use it but now that I know its not right, its bugging me. Bought this car in 98 and never had the console off so I have no idea whats under there.

Yes, I can do it by hand. It irritates me if something doesnt work thats easy to fix. The switch is no longer made but I found some on ebay. I am thinking I may try to spray it with contact cleaner. I dont see how it could be worn out. Almost never gets used.

If you have moved it by hand into position, and the electric adjustment doesn't work, then it must be in the wiring/switch.
I have had mirrors (other vehicles) that have been moved out of adjustment range accidentally/intentionally, and when the mirror is manually readjusted within the adjustment range, the switch will respond.
