also the converter is locking up properly now when i apply 12 volts to the wire. just need to figure out where the wires connect to on the harness if i get a picture of the connector would you be able to take a look at yours and tell me where the corresponding wires go to?

I now have a 4l60e but I wired my 700r4 using the diagrams in the factory service manual. If I remember right, there was a 4 pin connector going to top of the tranny. Of these, one was ground and the other hot for the solenoid. Just connect onto those.

sorry what i meant was the wires for the VSS the torque converter i beleive is now locking up properly. fixed the wipers and the heater. the cooling fan wired to a switch. a/c firewall delete. and inline fuel pump wired up where the old filter was. the intak pump removed and a filter and hose to lengthen it enough to drop it into the fuel tank. only thing left is to get it back together and get the VSS wired up

The speed sensor is in the tailshaft. There is a male 2 pin connector that goes into the sensor. I think the wire colors are green and black, but it's been a while.
