Default Winaldl software

Hello,

I got the Winaldl software to work on my 1984 Corvette.
4spd. I pressed the datalogging key and took the car for a drive. Where does it store the logged data?
at idle these are the results of the Winaldl scan
IAC 46
MAP 1.3- 1.7
RPM 1000
TPS 0.5
Temp 188
INT(?) 133
Knock 3
BLM 112
Rich/lean 200

When I came back from the ride my CEL was on and the car idle was 1500. I did not check the other parameters because I thought that they were logging.
Is there anything here that stands out.
Thank you

While you are driving and logging you are in service mode so it is entirely possible your CEL will be on or flashing. On my 85 it flashes either slow or fast depending on if the car is running lean or rich.

Also, probably not a bad idea to let the car warm up before using the cable and driving in service mode.

The logs are stored in the winladl folder somewhere.

The car was warm. I had it idle for about a half hour in the driveway. Winaldl did respond to me and said that the logged information isstored in the foldr with the program folder. And it was. The information is stored by date.
Thank you

A LOT of data comes out of the ECM. It can be overwhelming.

I found it easiest to import the data into Excel and then graph the parts I was interested in.

I bought this software so that I could help cure my fast idle. The car idles when warm at about 1300 to 1500 rpm. What paprameters do I use and how do I change them.

Thank you

The software is datalogging only. You can't change the parameters.
If you have a high idle then more than likely you have a vac leak.

I put a vacuum gauge on the rear TBI and it had 15 inches of vacuum. I thought it should have 20. Am I correct?

your vac leak as QWS stated could be the TB gaskets or the intake mani cover or a cracked vac line or a IAC stuck retracted.

winALDL will give you BLM data in logs and allows you to verify sensor function.

It also explains the cable needed(with or w/o resistor)

1984 is not hacked and unsupported. Unless you chose to swap ECU's to one that is.

I have to look for the leak. Now if I put a rag on the TBI the engine should start to stall like a carbed car correct. Now just one question what does BLM mean. The IACs are not stuck in the retracked position. But the car idled at six hundred until I connectec the IACs then it went upto 1500.
I am going to disconnect the IACs measur the vacuum set the RPM to 450 and then connect the IACs. Now I know that to reset the IACs the car has to be at 30 mph. Can I just chock open the throttle at say 2000 rpm for 10 minutes.
Thank you
