The rods are the same all years but the brackets were part numbered differently through '87. One number didn't supersede the other, the older was just discontinued. It might be interesting to compare some "known" early ones to the later '88+ ones.
The 1984 & 85 cars had 51% Antisquat, the later cars had 62%, so the "Dog Bone" holes in the brackets would be different.
My guess is the mount to the frame is the same.
Also....
An old Magazine article had a picture of these brackets compared to stock, and I dug up the picture.
It looks like they have the keys offset from stock also, but they are tack welded on the side and not like our brackets.
This might be the difference why they worked and ours don't.

I have been gathering some more pieces here at the shop. There is in fact a error on some of the parts out there. We know there is some differences in cars and brackets. So I don't think this is complete wide spread.
If you feel yours maybe a problem, please contact me. We have a batch of (wider spread pads) parts coming in 4 weeks, so we can do a exchange or can modify your parts, re-coat them and send them back. Which ever you prefer.
