would straight pipes be a plus or problem for 1994 LT1?

Lots of noise. that is why the set I got with the car is in the cellar.

A lot of people run with no mufflers on these cars, including me. If you are local to anyone I'm sure it would be no problem to hear/ride a long to hear what it sounds like going down the road. If by some random chance you are anywhere around the Covington/conyers/loganville area in Ga I would be more than happy to meet you somewhere.

I have Exhaust Eliminators on my 96 LT4 and they sound great. I like the poping when you let off the gas. I do think it boosts H P a little, no restrictions ? Go for it
