Default Food for thought

I was looking at some old logs and thought I would show how much of a difference the SR makes over the stock intake.

Here is the SR setup...note only at ~86% throttle at up over 100 MPH..

RPM MAF g/sec TPS MPH % TPS

4300 228 4.16 105.7 86.9
4325 232 4.16 106.7 86.9
4275 232 4.16 106.7 86.9
4250 231 4.16 107.8 86.9
4400 232 4.16 107.8 86.9
4375 235 4.16 107.8 86.9
4350 232 4.16 107.8 86.9
4375 234 4.16 107.8 86.9
4475 237 4.16 108.9 86.9
4350 234 4.16 109.9 86.9
4450 238 4.16 109.9 86.9
4400 235 4.16 109.9 86.9
4425 237 4.16 109.9 86.9
4400 236 4.16 111 86.9
4550 238 4.16 112.1 86.9

RPM MAF g/sec TPS MPH % TPS

4175 158 4.55 83.3 106.6
4100 158 4.55 84.3 106.6
4125 158 4.55 84.3 106.6
4275 159 4.57 85.4 107.1
4275 159 4.55 85.4 106.6
4375 159 4.57 86.5 107.1
4300 140 4.57 86.5 107.1
4350 160 4.57 87.5 107.1
4375 160 4.55 87.5 106.6
4350 161 4.57 88.6 107.1
4350 160 4.55 88.6 106.6
4400 161 4.33 89.7 100.9

Just a slight bit of difference :D

Also this is with Fully ported AFR heads and all the other goodies in the signiture.

Just thought some people would be interested in the information!

Ski, New Sig looks nice, especially with the slicks on :yesnod: , but I'm gonna miss Dad's 67 :nonod:

I had planned on Headers and a 2800 TC as my next mods, but... does it really do that much
PS... I got a new sig to :flag

Triple,

Yeah I should have left it there, but needed to consolidate the sig a little. That thing is a beast isn't it? Makes our cars look like little puppy dogs. Oh well even puppies can bite.

Yeah I definately like your sig! Glad you are satisfied with the results. How hot is your car running now?

Getting back to the original post.....That is the difference between a stock setup and all the items I have now. Headers might help, but not to that extent. The funny thing is, after doing all these mods, I was running rich at WOT! 10.1 AFR with the base ARAP chip (stock chip). Do you think the general was playing it safe when adjusting the AFR? I leaned my car out to 12.7 and it made a huge difference.

This was something I have been meaning to compare. When I sent your logs to you, steve. It got my butt in gear.

Hey don't forget about those manifolds you were shown!
