Hi Everyone- Since my car was converted to carb, most everything on the info display was unused. I decided to install an LCD screen in that location. I got a great deal on a backup camera and wide screen monitor meant to go over top of your rear view mirror. I trimed the dash bezel out to fit the monitor and mounted the front bezel of the LCD right to the dash. I did have to trim the dash out a bit to fit it, but nothing major.
Currently the switches to select Oil Pressure/Temp ect are tucked under the dash. I have a plan to install them in a more accessible location later.
Its not hooked up until I get the cameras mounted. When its hooked up it will automatically switch to the rearview camera when the car is in reverse and has a second input for whatever I want to add. The buttons on the right side of the screen are touch sensitive to control input selection and how wide I make the picture on the screen.
