Default sub-frame bushings

Here's a crazy question. I've got a 1980 Camaro...everyone on the Camaro site says the first thing to do is install a new sub-frame bushing kit.

I've never heard ANYONE mention sub-frame bushings on a C4. I mean these are detachable front end type frame.
Any opinions?

c4 has a frame not a sub frame......you can still do the bushings though.........camaro has front and rear sub frames hooked to a unibody

Is there a bushing kit available or are they a dealer item?

Most of the frame is bonded to the body. Replacement bushings are usually for the Suspension on a C4. There are replacement bat wing bushings...

Main problem is c4 replacement bushings are poly urethane. If you want rubber you have to buy the entire upper/lower a arms and new dog bones
If you really want a better ride/handling quality skip the poly rears and go for a spherical rod end suspension kit.

Energy Suspension would be an easy source.

The removable front X member is a standalone piece that is solid mounted to the frame.
The rear suspension as noted has rubber bushes
