I received this note from a local car club friend and would appreciate any suggestions. I avoid C4 work due to the electronics involved but would still like to help him out
Appreciate the help as always

JER, Remember that dinner at Outback - I wanna collect now!
Well not with dinner just free Corvette advice! I did my dumb move of the year last week when switching my battery again. This time I got in a hurry and reversed the cables! I immediately fried the MSD box, fusible link and alternator. Got all that fixed, no problem but the radio (factory) and the heater and a/c controls don't work either. The antilock brake light stays on too but thats not very important as I can't lock up the brakes by standing on them anyway with no vaccuum!
Anyway I had a blown radio fuse in the fuse panel and fixed that, and all the rest were fine. I took the dash apart and replaced the security system fuse. I still have no power to the radio and none to the a/c control box. The a/c box was always sort of marginal, but worked if you played with it. Took the box apart and there was no sign of burnt or bad parts. The radio and a/c control wires go directly into the main harness making them tough to trace - Got any Ideas????? , or who to call? 87 Corvette Conv.
He may have only replaced the blown fuses in the fuse box inside the passenger door frame/dash. There is a second fuse box. It is located under the panel under the dash on the passenger side. It needs to be unscrewed to access it and has fuses to the systems he is having problems with. There are screws under the dash on the panel itself and a hidden screw, torx, inside the 1st fuse box.
Thanks Much for both responses. While I own a SMALL Corvette restoration shop we specialize in C1-C3 and happily admit to being C4 inept.
Geeze this is one damn busy DB :jester
Appreciate the help
