I was out running around with my son the other day (driving farther than my normal 6.5 miles to work). Stopped at a fruit stand to get him some strawberries and left him in the car with the AC on. Got back in the car, and the brakes went goofy on me. Long dead spot in the pedal, then they didn't want to release.
They stayed like that all the way home, long dead spot when I needed brakes, then they (I don't know which one) didn't want to let go.
I'm planning to flush/refill/bleed the fluid. I'll check the calipers and put antiseize anywhere that looks like it needs it, but is there some common corvette brake problem that the new guy (me) needs to know about?
I've been driving the car since and the brakes have not acted that way again, so I'm assuming it was a sticky brake piston, but I like to know what to look for when I'm ready to work.
