I did not read through all this mis information.
The 85 ran a Bosch 280-150-223 at 23.6 lbs with 39 psi at the 17085050 rail. http://www.witchhunter.com/flowdatapix/b0280150223.jpg
Replace with Bosch 280-155-715 from Jon at FIC.
Please note, fuel pressure will start to bleed of as soon as pump is shut off.
Almost forgot, you cannot program out the cold start on an 85 without upgrading to the 86 through 89 ecm.

You can cap off the fuel rail and remove the cold start injector and plug the intake. You can have a tuner add a little more fuel on start up. I ran with out the CSI when I added the SuperRam. There is no provision for the SCI on the SuperRam set up. My tuner just added a little more fuel for start up. Never had a problem with extra cranking.
ok-pulled the codes...34 mass air flow...probably something to do with the vortex rammer I installed, and 54....low voltage in the fuel pump circuit.....relay/pump/bad connection or ground????
