How much piping (plan is for 2 3/4") will be required and what bends?
Basically an exhaust template, if you've done this before or can figure it out, give or take

I am thinking from the parts you plan to purchase, you are going to fab this up yourself. You can buy mandrel bends from Summit/Jegs and straight pipe. I would just get under the car and start measuring. Or just take your parts to a muffler shop and have them do it.

I build one for racing for my 85. I cut the mandrel bends and tacked them together until I had what I wanted in place and then welded the whole thing up.

I am going to bring this to the mechanic to fab up the exhaust. This is why I was just wondering how many and what degree bends to purchase.

I used to have Flowmaster 40 series and I did notice a drone but loved the sound.

Unless your mechanic has experience building exhaust system, I would take it to a muffler shop that you trust and have them build you the system with your parts. First ask if they have a machine that makes mandrel bends. These are bends that do not crush the pipe to a small diameter like an hour glass.

If you were going to do it yourself then go to it. But your mechanic or a muffler shop will charge you. So go with someone that has experience.

I don't think very many if any shops will have mandrel pipe benders.
they are large and high dollar machines.

I think a "speed shop" would have such equipment.

A small custom exhaust shop near Trenton, NJ does excellent custom exhaust work and can mandrel bend pipes.

heres another thing too. I don't buy premade header collector reducers any more. Header collectors are never even close to being straight. I have been buying a collector ring only like this 5/16" thick one from kook's and running a piece of straight pipe into it and correcting the slight angle at the collector. The rest of the angles after that in the exhaust are greater and much easier.

BTW...this is a 3" system on a 68 Malibu with hooker headers
