TunerPro RT Version 4 vs Version 5

TunerPro RT Version 4 vs Version 5
91 corvette L98
connect with Moates ALDU1 and CABL1
connects fine with Tuner Pro RT V4
when I connect with V5, the connection cycles connected/disconnected/connected etc.
In the short time it is connected (about 1 second on, 1 off, 1 on etc) it appears to be reading data.
Any one else have this issue? or how to make it work
