Re: Annyone got experince with LUC pressureplate? (devilfish)
LUK is OEM supplier to Chevrolet of the dual mass flywheel.
I am not sure who makes the clutch disc. VALEO is the only maker of the pressure plate as far as I've seen that supplies GM.

Ok. When I pulled my throwout bearing it was LUC I think. I thought the ZR1s had a LUC clutch.
Re: Annyone got experince with LUC pressureplate? (scorp508)
The OE unit is a LUK. The only OE style manufacturer for a clutch (asbestos types) is Valeo. If I were you, I would get a LUK or a SACHS, they are equal in quality. I took the $550 Spec stage one out and replaced it with a SACHS. Kevalr does not bite as well as organic materials. I browsed a website of a Camaro guy who has spent 3k or so in clutches. The OE unit lasted 30k and he has several "HiPo" units that all crapped out after 7k or so. If I can find the link I will get it for you.
Good Luck,
Robert
