Lip Seal - "O" Ring Seal?
Is there any way to tell which set of seals a caliper has without having to separate the halves and removing the pistons? I bought a set off ebay a year or so ago for my restoration. The price I paid was well below the price for a new set of lip seals. The seller had bought them about two years before the auction and couldn't remember which seals they had or which vendor sold them. He told me after the auction that he paid around $650 for all four calipers which I think is in line for the "O" ring sealed calipers. Any help is appreciated.
