Default rearend issue, help.

saw an answer to this months ago, but cant find it. I nailed the vette the other day and heard a thump come from the rearend. Seems like the posi isn't really working now, but not sure. Just doesn't seem right. Where to look first? Thanks.

pull some fluid and take a close look for metal. Otherwise, drain and refill with GM posi-additive and the proper wt grease.

A clunk/clank can be a joint also..
