I want to spend about $16,000 ( +/- $1,000) for a automatic convert with low miles. The problem is I really want the HD suspension, fast ratio steering and 13" brakes and don't want to go the aftermarket route. It seems that the only years ALL these items were available was on the 88 or 89 Z52 cars? After that there was no fast ratio steering? And HD was not available with auto or convert? I know you could not get the Zo7 option on an auto or convert so is it true I am limited to the 88/89? I REALLY like these features and having experienced the quicker steering, big brakes, and HD suspension I will not settle for less. Any ideas?
Sorry don't know about when the "good" options were available, someone with a blackbook will chime in here later......
but, I can say I looked and waited patiently for my 89 with all the specific aforementioned options. J55 HD brakes, and the good suspension etc...
I didn't know about the ratio on the steering
so.......
I think it is gonna take some searching to find a "good" car
