Battery Light Illuminated
I have a '91 convertible C4/V8 (used to be my late husband's - not that it matters but he was the only owner).
It hadn't been started in about a year and of course it was dead so I put in a new battery yesterday. The moment I started the car, the brake light came on. Could this in any way be related to the battery change??
Sorry for the noob question, but I just can't believe my luck is THAT bad that the brakes need attention too! I drove it around quite a bit yesterday and the brakes were fine.

The parking brake is on the outer side of the drivers seat. To apply it you pull it up, then it will go back down out of the way. To release it, pull up until it stops moving easily, then pull just a bit more and push the release button on the top.
If the parking brake was on you probably did not hurt anything while driving it.
