Default fuel pump question

I am considering doing a carb swap from x fire inj and I want to know if the block has a place for a mechanical fuel pump to be mounted to it. there is Nothing wrong with my setup but in doing a rebuild and want a thumping cam and dont have a lot of money to make the the computer work with a milder cam and still get my horsepower that i am.

thnx for the info

Why run a mechanical pump in the hot engine compartment?? Keep the stock 15 psi intank pump and use a Mallory 4309 regulator to allow 6 psi for the carb. Get rid of the chit 624 heads if you want to make more Hp. I went with the summit 152123 dart made large valve cast iron heads but there are many heads to choose from. Good luck.

Im actually replaceing the heads. I dont know the cast # but the ported 202/164 64cc chamber. I am leaving the bottom end alone and giving cam intake carb and distributor.
