Help with paint question .
My 86 has a respray a long time ago, now at the top edge of the doors the paint is peeling and you can see old paint underneath. The old paint and new paint match perfect , should i flake off what i can then wet sand the peeling edge and polish?

Sounds as though whoever painted the car (or panel) didn't do a very good prep job to get the new paint to adhere properly. You could sand it, but I'll bet the paint will continue to peel away.
I would suggest you ask in the Paint/Body section of the Forum. There are some skilled paint techs over there.
