Need help with center console shift indicator for an automatic 1990 Coupe
My wife just told me the little red position indicator is not moving to show what gear the car is in...I had the that cover off yesterday taking a bunch of change out of there that had slipped though..
Again, this is an automatic...
Does the dash show shifter position?
Could I have messed anything up? What gives?

You have to take the center console apart and re-connect the needle. When you lift the center piece the needle comes out of it's little pocket. Take your time, go slow and you'll get it back in on the first try. Also check the little light that illuminates that window and make sure it's positioned correctly too.
