roll tougher than a mo fo over your supe and wage slave homeys and bump risking incurring the wrath of the hatahs...

Should you just creep on the solo tip and keep it real on the down-low?
Translation: Is it wise to risk the consequences of jealousy by driving your Corvette to work when it's superior in every way to the cars your supervisor and co-workers drive?

Should you just keep it parked at home and keep the joy of Corvette ownership to yourself?)
I drive mine to work, scares me some times but you have to come to expect that when you drive a vette or any other sports car. There will always be someone who is a complete . I pray every day that when I come out to my car it will be the same as I left it. I dont care what they think when I drive it to work. Let them be envious just not vindictive.

I feel your pain, I drive a bright red 2001 Ford Lightning to work everyday, and I work at a General Motors truck assembly plant. The Lightning stands out like a sore thumb.
I have a bit of the same problem, but in a different way - driving my 'vette to school, or not?
I was (and still am) worried about people scratching/keying/sugaring whatever but I figure I bought the car to drive it, and so I will. This doesn't mean I'm going to be stupid about it, though - hence the locking gas cap.
As long as I can feign humbleness, and silently nod my head when other students tell me that their sticker-laden civics will beat the crap out of me, I should be ok.

Ive seen where you park at work. I dont think you have anything to worry about people thinking that was you or your car. Only way they can see you AND the car is if they have binoculars
Just don't be a Di#@! Act like your better etc. and I don't think you'll have
a problem. I had to drive mine to a similar job setting everyday because its the only car I had! But believe it or not I have got better jobs/positions from driving a Vette because higher ups thought "this guy must have his poop together!"
Take it to work, but put a car cover and lock it with a cable and if you're really paranoid sew some thin foam inserts along the side. There are times when I feel like doing that. Whatever you decide just remember that since you have a Vette... you're bedda dan day yar :D
I wouldn't worry about. I drive mine to work and if no one likes it, oh well. I do try and keep an eye on it, but like anything else, it'll pick up a nick and a scratch there. :mad I'm just not going to be paraniod and leave it at home and never drive it out of fear something will happen to it. :nonod:
did you write the dialog for the Jive scene in Airplane???
[Modified by bogus, 10:37 PM 6/28/2002]
 No, Bogus, but I'm sure you'd agree I'm eminently qualified to do so. Did you notice how I got more syntax economy out of the jive version as opposed to the Standard Federation King's English version? Less words to say the same thing... :yesnod:
Has anyone heard the term Easy-fo-sheezy?? I think it's the funniest damn piece of ebonics I have ever heard. NH Just switched to the 7 letter plates, so I'm thinkin...
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
