where is your FP ground wire?

I have never traced that one (mine works fine), but I have seen in another post about a month ago that it is grounded at G401, which is near the rear compartment courtesy light on the passenger side. Here's a diagram from the '86 FSM (yours might be different):

Most have two, often spliced together - one for the Pump the other for the Tank which will keep static electricity from blowing you up when you fill it up. At least one should run to the frame below the Tank. If someone has replaced the Tank, they may have removed or cut that ground wire. Put it back.
