Default where does it go???

cleaning the engine compartment of my 85 just below the blower I found a 1/2 inch rubber tube...6-8 '..shaped like a bent fishhook...i can see one end hooks on a tube coming out below the blower moter and looks like it should bend down around the blower and face up..maybe.....the other end has a little bevel on it..like it hooks to something else....cant see what....anybody know what it is or where it should go???

It's the drain for the cowl area under the wipers.

Looking at the heater box, the hose goes from the motor housing to a hole in the heater box that is to the right and down from the center of the motor. It just ' snaps' into the box.

Without pics it's kinda hard to tell, but it sounds like the tube for blowing cold air into the fan motor to keep it from burning up.

with both of "Sleazy" & JMelton - it is the blower cooling tube. No doubt about it!

There should be a round hole in the blower motor!

This is NOT a Corvette motor or case:
