To make it simple. I put a chrome cover between the fuel rails to dress up the engine . Had to remove the fuel line to the pressure regulator. When I started it, I had a leak . Fixed it, I think . Now, the fuel pump isn't working .
Now, realize I did NOT touch any of the power lines to the computer or fuel pump . If I shoot starter fluid into the throttle body, it fires right up, then dies from lack of fuel .
Is it possible that the computer has shut down the fuel pump because it wouldn't start and the engine had low pressure ? Would disconnecting the battery for a bit reset the computer if that happened ? I'm out of ideas and this is killing me because I can't enter it in any shows !
There is no feedback to the ECM on the pressure (or not )
Checked the pump fuse ?
ooops . The engine is a '94 lt1 . There is a fuel pump relay and supposedly the pump has a fuse also . Trying to find the fuse is another story . It worked fine before the leak though .
